We’re looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant that can take the lead creating Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions to help our clients modernize their marketing programs, increase revenue, and improve their customer experience.  

What does a day in the life of a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant at modes look like?  

As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud consultant at Modes, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions for our clients. From discovery and planning all the way to implementation and final delivery, you’ll help our clients leverage Marketing Cloud across their business to enhance their marketing programs and meet business goals. Then, you’ll educate and provide the right resources to ensure future success even after implementation.  

You have a strong understanding of how to configure and develop SFMC solutions, applying its capabilities to our client’s business objectives. You are als  well-versed in digital marketing and understand how to apply the principles of digital marketing to Salesforce Marketing Cloud instances.   

You’re a natural when it comes to client presentations and facilitating workshops. Thinking critically about business problems is simply your nature, and you know how to turn business problems into opportunities to leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionality.  
You’re familiar with acronyms like ERD’s and DFD’s, perhaps you’ve created wireframes or written functional requirements and end user documentation. You’ve designed several Marketing Cloud systems for organizations of varying sizes, and you’re deeply familiar with Marketing Cloud’s functionality.  
 
In This Role You Will:  

  • Design and implement Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions that help our clients meet their business goals  
  • Facilitate workshops and information-gathering sessions with clients to define business requirements  
  • Create user stories based on business requirements and plan SFMC Solutions to meet user story acceptance criteria  
  • Demonstrate SFMC functionality to stakeholders and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to set clients up for future success with their new marketing platforms   
  • Create and execute timelines for implementation and all phases of the delivery lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, training and support after implementation

Our Ideal Candidate Has:  

  • 5+ years of experience designing and delivering Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations 
  • Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator certification  
  • Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification  
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant certification (or the ability to obtain this within 2 months)  
  • Working knowledge of SSJS, AMP Script, SQL, HTML and CSS  
  • Well-versed in application design, data integration, and security architecture  
  • Ability to create and lead workshops, information-gathering sessions, and client presentations as required  
  • Experience working in an agile environment 
  • 3+ Years of experience as a digital marketing or marketing automation specialist
  • Fintech or financial services industry experience would be great, but not required
