Modes is looking for a seasoned Salesforce Developer to become an integral part of our Delivery team. We seek a professional passionate about leveraging cloud computing capabilities to empower Financial Services organizations. As a Salesforce Developer at Modes, your primary role will be to ensure the seamless orchestration of solutions and deliverables.
You'll work collaboratively with a diverse team of technical and non-technical members and execute projects of various magnitudes and strategic significance. As a subject matter expert, you'll be actively involved throughout all project stages, from scoping and design to implementation and deployment, focusing on Salesforce initiatives to provide superior value to our clients.

Your Role:
  • You'll manage the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements while serving as an advisor to diverse teams, both customer and partner resources. This will involve employing adaptive communication strategies in scenarios where you may not have direct authority.
  • Contribute to setting the program vision and advising on program/project strategies, focusing on enabling technologies, including the Force.com Platform. Offering guidance on application and integration development best practices, Enterprise Architecture standards, and technical solution architecture & design, you'll support environment management, testing, and Force.com Platform education.
  • Play an instrumental role in creating application and technical design documents, leveraging Salesforce best practices to integrate Salesforce into the customer's infrastructure seamlessly. In addition, you'll troubleshoot key customer implementation issues and drive them to resolution while evaluating business and technical requirements from a senior level.
  • Building relationships with business partners, both internally and externally, is vital. You'll contribute to broader goals and growth beyond the scope of a single customer engagement.
  • As a team player, you'll contribute to the growth of the Services Practice by identifying and leading internal strategic initiatives.
  • You'll be able to identify ways to leverage the Salesforce platform and various integration tools. In addition, you'll be involved in end-to-end implementation planning, including project management, issue management, communication, and change management.
  • Finally, establishing and maintaining trusted advisor relationships with client project stakeholders will be crucial as you provide vision and insight into the future product roadmap.

From a technical perspective, you should be able to:
  • Must have: utilize extensive technical knowledge of Salesforce APIs to build new processes and integrations with other applications, tools, and databases (REST, SOAP, and Bulk APIs)
  • Have experience with integration processes using Salesforce.com’s Web Services API and third-party integration tools (i,e, MuleSoft)
  • Build solutions on the Salesforce platform using Lightning Web Components, Apex and Visualforce
  • Work with UI web development technologies–HTML, Javascript/jQuery, CSS
  • Collaborate with internal and outsourced developers to delegate work and QA the results
  • Independently analyze application and system problems and incidents and develop recommendations and solutions for those problems
  • Provide detailed application and code expertise to the development, testing and business teams
  • Work as a part of a team leveraging an agile-like development methodology (including but not limited to working with user stories, requirements gathering, demoing functionality, etc.)
  • Actively participate with clients or potential clients to discuss requirements/wants/needs, debug issues, and talk through complex technical topics
  • Assist with automation of batch import and update processes through Data Loader and other third-party tools
  • Organize development with DevOps tools
  • Define development and testing standard practices to reduce project risk and increase efficiency

Qualifications and Experience
  • Solid understanding of common data integration design patterns and best practices. Ability to both design and implement proposed solutions to meet client needs
  • In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce Platform related to Data and integration patterns, including both Batch and API-based integrations
  • Minimum of 6 years in a consulting and developer role with multiple Salesforce Certifications (i.e., Admin, Advanced Admin, Developer, Architect, Data Architect)
  • Broad experience across the Salesforce platform (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, Analytics). Ideally, have experience with Financial Service Cloud and familiarity with the FSC data model
  • Experience with cross-cloud Salesforce implementations integrated with other cloud and third-party and back office systems
  • Awareness of platform-specific design considerations such as large data volumes, system limits, and data migration
  • Comfortable working with client stakeholders to obtain solution requirements and ability to provide end-to-end solutions using Salesforce and Salesforce products, along with proven experiences implementing those solutions and participating in solutions meetings with clients.
  • Experience collaborating with project team members in fast-paced environments with tight timelines and budgets. Ability to work in distributed and virtual teams with a desire to collaborate with and mentor other Salesforce team members
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of audiences, including both business and technical
  • Experience with agile development and industry-standard tools and methodologies
  • Highly motivated and customer-focused
  • Post-secondary degree in a related technology or business field
